programų paketas statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Kelių ↑programų rinkinys, skirtas tam tikros rūšies uždaviniams spręsti. Visos paketo programos paprastai turi panašią sąsają su naudotoju, bendrai naudoja dalį išteklių, todėl juo būna paprasčiau naudotis negu analogiškos paskirties savarankiškomis programomis. Įdiegtą programų paketą dažniausiai galima papildyti naujomis programomis. Paketas gali turėti pagrindinius ir pagalbinius komponentus. Pavyzdžiui, „Mozillos“ programų paketo pagrindiniai komponentai yra interneto ↑naršyklė, ↑elektroninio pašto programa ir hiperteksto rašyklė.
